  • 1/2 tbsp Shaoxing wine (or mirin, dry sherry, water)

  • 1/4 black pepper

  • 1/2 tbsp cornstarch

  • 1/2 tbsp neutral oil

  • Steak (chuck flap, sirloin, etc.)

  • 1/2 green onion

  • 1-2 garlic cloves

  • 1 tsp grated ginger

  • 1/4 yellow onion

  • 1/2 green bell pepper

  • 1/2 red bell pepper

  • 1 tbsp neutral oil, divided

  • 1/2 tsp toasted sesame oil

  • 1/4-1/2 tsp black pepper
